The base2stay concept is one of "affordable luxury limited service" and that's exactly what you get. a clean, stylish, hotel in a great location with all the "essential" luxuries (air-conditioning,internet access, clean contemporary rooms/bathrooms etc). for central london the prices are excellent and the only "sacrifices" are seldom-used facilities such as a restaurant/bar/gym. that's not to say that you can't access these facillities locally (the surrounding area is packed with them) but you're not forced to pay a premium for them as part of your hotel package. over the years i've stayed in a range of london hotels, from budget to five star, and this hotel beats them all.
